All religions preach love as their core teaching; yet we find people belonging to different religions fighting against one another. Not only do they fight as individuals but as organized groups as well. When religion degenerates into religiosity either at the individual or at the organizational level, religious practices and structures tend to replace religious values. Religion, then instead of becoming a liberative force, becomes a means of exploitation. This book is an attempt to analyse this phenomenon and discuss the core values that are the common heritage of all religions. These values, according to spiritual masters, are love, wisdom and inner freedom. The author has tried to analyse the different dimensions of these three core values in so convincing and practical a way as to help the reader build up a mature and adult spirituality.
