He Sets The Captives Free

Imagine that your child, or someone so dear to you were kidnapped. The kidnappers ask for such an incredible ransom that there is no way you can even begin to raise the money, even if you sold all your possessions or borrowed the required sum from a bank with the hope of paying it back. However, there is one thing you know you will do. You will offer your own life in exchange for that person, your child or loved one. This is what God did for us. He, the Father, out of his immense love for us, gave us His Son as a ransom so that we may be delivered from the captivity of sin and from the strongholds that hold us in bondage.
